SCHLEICHER 06670
In the installation, the cutting and assembly of the sandwich construction of a car roof shell is carried out.
On both sides of the installation, the fleece/sheet and decor strips are unwound. The lower part of the sandwich is discharged via a dancer from unwinder 1. Glass fibers are distributed onto this combined layer using a vibrator. The continuous belt then passes through the mat delivery area.
There, the adhesive applicator places a laminated foam board onto the belt. In the next station, glass fiber is applied again. The sandwich base is discharged onto a conveyor belt at a specific length, trimmed, and transported to the handling position for welding.
On the other side of the installation, a fleece/sheet and decor strip is discharged from unwinder 2 via a dancer.
On a cutting table, a discharge length is cut, which is then picked up by the decor feed grippers to be taken to the welding station and placed on the sandwich base. The hot rivet unit lowers and welds the sandwich.
After the welding process, the evacuation door opens and the evacuation gripper enters the welding station. Needles lift the lateral edge of the sandwich, allowing the evacuation gripper to remove the sandwich.
This evacuation unit pulls the package to the press feed table, deposits it there, waits until the feed has locked the package, and then returns to its normal position. At the same time, the evacuation door closes again.
The feed transports the package to press 1 or 2. At the same time, the feed lifts the sandwich and rotates it 90º. Once the correct position in front of the corresponding press is reached, the linear movement passes through the press feed table. The feed clamps then open, and the press feed table takes over the sandwich. The feed unit returns to its normal position.

MOLDING PRESS 16163i-A+B
The hydraulic presses mod. SM25/18-300 ICFS / no. 16163iA and 16163iB are intended for hot molding of materials typically used for lining and/or soundproofing the interior of motor vehicles, such as fabrics, PVC, and Septum, using special interchangeable tools to be installed on the pressing platens. The loading of semi-finished products on the rear side of the press and the unloading of formed parts are carried out manually.
The loading of semi-finished products into the press is done with a motorized carriage that features a special system for spraying a release agent onto the mold.
The machines are designed to operate in automatic mode and in manual mode following a guided procedure, employing a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 operators. Manual mode is practically reserved for maintenance, setup, and mold change interventions.
Total control and observation of the machinery under safe conditions in all intended usage modes is carried out from the work and control positions.
Personnel responsible for operation, adjustment and control, and maintenance of the machine must receive relevant information and training from Persico S.p.A. technical staff or personnel designated by them.

4-CYLINDER GLUE SPREADER model Open Pur
The OPEN PUR is a cylinder spreading machine whose operation can be outlined as follows:
The spreading cylinder is driven by a gearmotor and is constantly kept covered with a uniform layer of adhesive thanks to another cylinder, called the metering cylinder, placed behind the first one and
driven by another gearmotor.
By adjusting the distance between the spreading cylinders and the metering cylinders, it is possible to determine the amount of adhesive to be spread.
The rotation of the cylinders allows a "bead" of adhesive to be maintained in the cavity between the two cylinders without causing leaks.
On the sides of the cylinders, the tightness of the adhesive is ensured by two plates made of anti-friction material.
During the process, the spreading cylinder comes into contact with the panel being processed, onto which the adhesive is deposited.
Below the cylinders there is a tank to collect and remove adhesive residues and washing liquid.
The dangerous areas of the machine are protected by interlocked metal grilles and rakes.
LAMINATING OR BONDING PRESS Mod.SC25/18-050 ICFS
The press mod. Mod.SC25/18-050 ICFS / serial No. 16370i is intended for bonding typical materials for lining and/or soundproofing the interiors of automotive vehicles such as fabrics, PVC, Septum, using specific interchangeable tools to be installed on the pressing platens. The press is of the column type with the upper platen closing from top to bottom and a fixed lower platen. The mold temperature control is carried out by two "Tool-Temp" mod. TT-138 N mini units, incorporated in the final installation. The machine is equipped with a motorized unwinder and a fabric conveyor under the press. The unloading of the bonded/molded/die-cut parts from the press is manual.
The machine is designed to work in automatic and manual modes according to a guided procedure.
Manual mode is essentially intended for maintenance, setup, or mold change interventions.
Total control and observation of the machinery under safe conditions in all intended usage modes is carried out from the work and command positions.
Personnel responsible for operating, adjusting, controlling, and maintaining the machine must receive relevant information and training from Persico S.p.A technical staff or personnel designated by them.
