I'm selling my self-designed desktop CNC and I'll teach you how to use it! In the following video you can see it in action:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPkssq_e83s
(The video is my girlfriend's work! It turned out great)
The price includes the CNC and a session (in person if you live in the Barcelona area/surroundings, or via Skype if you live farther away) where I'll explain, as an introduction, how to use the CNC and the main programs typically used (grbl, gCodeSender, Fusion 360, Vectric Aspire, MakerCAM, etc...).
Below I leave you more detailed information about the CNC and what the in-person session includes:
About the CNC:
-Work area: 450x210x70 (these dimensions can be changed if you wish)
-Total machine volume: 600x500x420
-Suitable for machining plastic, wood, and aluminum, etc....
It includes:
-0.5KW ER11 Spindle (I can swap it for another if you wish).
-NEMA-23 motors
-Arduino UNO with GRBL and TB6600 drivers
-Limit switches on the X and Y axes.
-Optionally, I can add a starter kit of bits and ER11 collets.
The CNC is made to order, so there's no problem if you want to change or add something.
-Delivery/Shipping:
If you live in the Barcelona area or surroundings, I can deliver the machine in person or you can come pick it up, whichever you prefer.
If you live farther away, the CNC will be shipped by the method we agree on. Please note that shipping costs are your responsibility.
About the in-person session:
Once I have delivered the CNC to you, you are entitled to a 3-4 hour session in person or via Skype (depending on where you live).
The session will be an introduction to CNC where, rather than teaching you, I will guide you and point out the things you need to know and where to find them so you can get started on your own and not feel completely lost at the beginning (after all, this is a hobby that you have to explore and learn by yourself).
These are the topics I cover in the session (depending on your level):
-General introduction to CNC (parts, operation, g-code, grbl, etc...).
-How to use it (gCodeSender, Mach3, etc...) and how to set it up (securing the workpiece, setting the zero, etc...).
-Introduction to the most commonly used CAM software (Fusion 360, Vectric Aspire, MakerCAM, etc...). I also include information on where to download them and tutorials so you can continue on your own.
-If the session is in person, we can make a test piece together.
Please note that the session is aimed at the person
