The hammer mill is used for size reduction of different materials, organic and inorganic.
The operating principle is based on the impact of a hard metal (hammer) against a certain fragile and / or soft product, the impact load depending on the length of the hammer in relation to the torque of the motor. This impact is made inside the crushing chamber, which limits the product's path as many times as necessary until the sequence of impacts reduces the material to the target.
The different industries and products where this equipment can be applied are the following, considering that the destination is unlimited, only a few examples are mentioned:
-Food -Fours -Semolas -Bait -Cookies -Nuts
-Chemicals -Rice -Pharmacy -Soya -Wheat -Non-metallic
-Corn -Chicks -Shells -Green leaves -Plastics -Grilled bread
The complete plans to manufacture the equipment are developed in the book -which was published in A4 format. The assembly drawing details the standard parts that are acquired in the industrial market, and the sequence of drawings of the parts to be machined. The part drawings contain:
-details of welding and the development of the folded sheets,
-assembly -welding- of the parts before machining them,
-complete sheets of the axes and machined parts with their tolerances,
-dimensions of the profiles with details of their angles (when applicable),
-Machining of standard parts to adapt them to the equipment.
The definition -or reading- of the plans, both on screen and after printing them, is optimal, like a photograph in .jpg format with a resolution of 300 pixel-inches.
The technical characteristics of the presented mill are Working RPM 3000 RPM - Working Power 3 HP - Number of hammers 9 (5 + 4 crossed).
