Dieser Mazak SPACE GEAR-48 MKII Laserschneider wurde 2011 in Japan hergestellt und hat eine Produktionsgeschichte von 22000 Arbeitsstunden. Die Maschine wird über eine FANUC L64-Steuereinheit betrieben und verfügt über eine Öldüse, ein Strahlausrichtungswerkzeug, einen Stabilisator und einen Kühler. In der Vergangenheit hat dieser Mazak hauptsächlich mit Weichstahl (bis zu 19 mm), Edelstahl (bis zu 6 mm) und Aluminium (bis zu 2 mm) gearbeitet und 3D-Rohre und -Teile für die Automobil- und Bauindustrie hergestellt.
